With just one week to go, the India School of Internet Governance (inSIG) 2024 is set to begin at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
Local, national, and international fellows have been selected for the 2024 edition, reflecting the program’s continued commitment to diversity and inclusive participation. The list of selected fellows is now available, and the latest inSIG 2024 program schedule has also been published, offering participants a comprehensive overview of sessions and activities planned for the week.
The India School on Internet Governance (inSIG) was established in 2016, organized ahead of ICANN 57, which was held in Hyderabad, India. Following the successful inaugural edition, inSIG has grown into a nationally recognized capacity-building initiative in Internet governance.
Over the years, inSIG has been hosted across multiple cities in India, reflecting its expanding reach and impact:
- Hyderabad (2016)
- Trivandrum (2017)
- Delhi (2018)
- Kolkata (2019)
- Mumbai – Virtual (2020)
- Chennai – Virtual (2021)
- Hyderabad (2022)
- Guwahati (2023)
Today, the organization of inSIG is supported collectively by all six Internet Society chapters in India, demonstrating strong community collaboration and shared commitment to strengthening Internet governance capacity across the country.
As inSIG 2024 approaches, the community looks forward to another impactful edition that will bring together fellows, experts, and practitioners to engage in discussions on policy, technology, and the future of the Internet.
