The Internet Society (ISOC) India Bengaluru Chapter announces the release of the report for the Fundamentals of Designing & Deploying Computer Networks (DDCN) Bootcamp.
The DDCN Bootcamp was a five-day capacity-building program jointly organized by the Internet Society (ISOC), the Internet Society Foundation, and the Internet Society India Bengaluru Chapter, with GITAM Deemed University serving as the hosting institution. The program was designed to strengthen participants’ foundational and practical understanding of computer networking, with a focus on real-world deployment and community connectivity.
The bootcamp brought together participants from academic institutions, ISOC chapters, and the broader technical community. Through a structured learning approach, the program combined theoretical instruction with applied learning activities to enhance competencies in network design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
The published report provides a comprehensive overview of the bootcamp, including the program structure, learning methodology, key activities, and outcomes. It serves as an official record of the initiative and a reference resource for future capacity-building efforts.
The Internet Society India Bengaluru Chapter extends its appreciation to all organizers, mentors, facilitators, and participants whose collective efforts contributed to the successful execution of the program. These efforts continue to support the development of technical skills, collaborative networks, and initiatives that advance community connectivity and help bridge the digital divide.
