The Internet Society (ISOC) India Bengaluru Chapter successfully concluded the Community Centered Connectivity Track (CCCT) Bootcamp 2025, marking an important milestone in advancing community networking and digital inclusion across India.
Through this initiative, the chapter empowered over 150 participants representing ISOC India chapters and prominent academic institutions across the country. The CCCT Bootcamp aimed to strengthen technical capacity, promote sustainable network design, and enable participants to play an active role in expanding meaningful Internet access in underserved communities.
Courses Delivered
The CCCT Bootcamp 2025 featured a comprehensive curriculum covering key aspects of community networking, including:
- Designing & Deploying Computer Networks (DDCN)
- Building Wireless Community Networks (BWCN)
- Community Network Readiness Assessment (CNRA)
These courses were designed to balance foundational theory with practical, real-world applications.
Training Approach
The program followed a blended learning model, combining five weeks of structured e-learning with hands-on bootcamps and real-world network design challenges. This approach enabled participants to apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios while benefiting from peer learning and expert guidance.
Graduation Ceremonies
Graduation ceremonies were hosted at several prestigious institutions, recognizing the dedication and achievements of the participants:

- Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru
- KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, Karnataka
- R L Jalappa Group of Institutions
These ceremonies celebrated the collective effort of learners, trainers, and partner institutions in building local Internet capacity.
Impact and Outcomes
Participants of the CCCT Bootcamp gained strong theoretical foundations, hands-on technical skills, and the confidence to plan, design, and deploy community networks.
