The Internet Society (ISOC) India Bengaluru Chapter announces the release of the report for the Train-the-Trainers Faculty Development Program – Fundamentals of Designing and Deploying Computer Networks (DDCN) Bootcamp 2026.
The DDCN Bootcamp 2026 was a five-day hands-on training program conducted at GITAM Deemed University, Bengaluru, from 23rd to 27th March 2026, bringing together 50 participants from 18 institutions.
The program was designed to strengthen the networking skills of faculty and academic professionals, covering key areas such as IP addressing, routing, switching, wireless networking, network security, and troubleshooting through practical sessions.
It followed a blended learning approach, combining self-paced modules, live interactive sessions, and hands-on bootcamp activities. Participants gained real-world experience using tools like Cisco Packet Tracer and MikroTik routers, enabling them to confidently apply concepts in both teaching and practical environments.
Throughout the five days, participants engaged in lab-based learning, exploring subnetting, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and socket programming, strengthening their ability to design and deploy real-world networks.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of the program, including its structure, activities, outcomes, and participant experiences. It serves as a valuable reference for future capacity-building initiatives.
The Internet Society India Bengaluru Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to all organizers, mentors, facilitators, and participants for making the program a success.
